that  will help  our youth  to  transition to society as employable and tax paying citizens.”Students in juvenile justice facilities need a world–class education and rigorous coursework to help them successfully transition out of facilities and back into the classroom or the workforce becoming productive members of society. Young people should not fall off track for life just because they come into contact with the justice system.”
Quote from Secretary Duncan-

“This guidance recognizes that children in juvenile justice facilities
are often the very same children who need our educational support the
most,” US Attorney General Eric Holder said. “Under the Individuals
with Disabilities Education Act, every one of these children —
including those involved with the justice system — is entitled to a
free appropriate education.”

Youth Outreach Services and its’ partners are cordially inviting candidates who are running for office to participate in an informal discussion on how you will help break the “Education Pipeline to Jail.”  Your participating will help make the public aware of your stand on such issues before the November elections. The debate is from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  Please let me
know if you are interested. This will be videotaped for television.
