Apprenticeship Program

Upon successful completion of the Job Training Program, students will have the opportunity to enroll in the Apprenticeship Program. Graduates of the Job Training Program will continue to receive their stipend if they have enrolled in the Apprenticeship Program.

Students, while enrolled within the Apprenticeship Program, will work in the incubator businesses. They will perform the daily duties of their vocation while receiving advanced on-the-job training. The length of the apprenticeship depends upon the amount of hours necessary for the student to obtain professional licensing in the State of Virginia, where required. Students will have their performance evaluated by the Department Manager on a periodic basis; with a focus on areas in which they can improve their skills.
