As we begin to plan for the renovations of our Nontraditional Career Center, we thought that it would be a great idea to get the community involved in our efforts; while giving back to the community. Youth Outreach Services plans to employ the local homeless community during the renovation of our Nontraditional Career Center. But, we need the help of businesses and individuals within the community. Thus, the “Giving a Job to the Homeless” campaign was born.
By purchasing one thirty-second television commercial for $100, your business can help provide income to a homeless person for the Christmas holidays. You can help make a Christmas wish come true!
Don’t own a business? Individuals can also participate for the same fee. For $100, individuals will have the opportunity to share a brief personal testimony. Or, you may purchase a coupon book full of awesome dining and entertainment deals – just in time for the holiday season!
All television ads and testimonies will air on Cox and Comcast within the Northern Virginia/Washington, DC Metro area and Verizon FiOS throughout the Richmond, Virginia Metro area and internationally through the Christian Women’s Network. 100% of the proceeds will go towards the payroll for the homeless employed during our renovation project. There are other ways that you can help, download television advertisement document for more information on advertising packages that are available through Youth Corporation, Inc. and broadcast networks, channels and time slots.
We encourage you to share this posting with local businesses, your family and friends. We thank you for your kind support and generosity this holiday season. We hope to have awesome holiday stories to share with you after Christmas.
